About Me

I've grown up on the edge of the Rocky Mountains along a range of uniquely beautiful snow capped peaks called the Wasatch Front. Provo, Utah is where I call home and I've loved it all my life. I've studied and practiced art throughout my education and have spent the past 7 years as a professional designer.

I love having a variety of projects to work on, it keeps my curiosity going and gives me lots of opportunity to try different things. In my freelance work, I've illustrated book covers, branded various start-up companies, painted and drawn murals for office and retail spaces, designed apparel for corporations and community functions, and other diverse projects. Throughout my freelance work, I've learned how to better communicate with clients, understand expectations and discuss design vision.

In addition to my freelance work I'm currently working at a company that supplies fragrance products to mass retailers throughout the U.S., Canada, China and the U.K. I'm Creative Director and I lead a team of 12 designers. We've designed and launched multiple national brands and we work hard to manage those brands as they grow quickly in a fast moving market.

I feel incredibly grateful for the start that I've had in my career so far.  I know I have the ability to be a great designer and illustrator but I believe in order to be great you have to learn from people who are great. I'm looking for extraordinary experiences with great mentors.  I want to bring new perspective to whichever agency or company I work for and hope to create meaningful connections with the people I work with.
